to learn, and play around with the key of the harmonica to find one that
fits best.

ears and a bit of trial and error to figure out which key harp song fits a
song best.  The quickest way to get good at this is to start doing it
regularly - like playing the radio and figuring out which harps you can use
over the songs by trial and error.
