Customizing Harp Mics

Hey all,

I'm wondering if there's any on-line or hard copy reference to the ins and 
outs of mic customization. Techniques for things such as installing the 
connector for screw-on switchcraft adapters, volume control components, optimal 
installation and sealing of different elements, proper grounding, what tools I'll 
need, etc. These are the kinds of things I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for 
any help.
