Re: Keith Dunn
I was lucky enough to be in touch with Keith just as his CD was released,
and I reviewed it for Planet Harmonica early on. Although the CD is
outstanding, I was further lucky enough to contribute to the Condat
Harmonica Festival booking him a couple of years back.
His live performance was nothing short of breathtaking. Never before had I
felt so close to the "real thing", and amazingly enough, despite the
apparent unattractiveness of the setup (a guy alone on a stage playing harp,
singing and tapping his foot and NOTHING ELSE for an hour, the whole
audience was on its feet at the end of each number.
Man, that was something I won't forget soon...
Talking politics and food with him in a restaurant in Limoges wasn't bad
either !
