Ron Holmes' box is a boutique item, hand made in limited numbers. To break even,
you have to charge a lot. The Harp Commander costs a little less than a Fender
Pro Junior so it's not too out of reach for budget musicians

If you want to build something like this, learn about electronics, I recommend
the Electronic Projects for Musicians by Craig Anderton, there's a preamp in
