melodica in blues - Paul Oscher cd

On Paul Oscher's new cd "Alone With The Blues" (which is great BTW) there 
are two tracks with a (blues!!)melodica.
On one tune it almost sounds like a swinging Hammond - probably some Leslie 
effect was added.

Anyone know what type of melodica Paul uses?

Anyone ever tried Hohner's bassmelodica?
