I saw Jason Ricci at Warmdaddy's in Philadelphia on Friday night. I was
awestruck by his virtuosity and sound. Jason does for harp what Jimi Hendrix
did for guitar- he has exalted his instrument to create a new state of the
art, taking it to a new higher realm. Jason was very gracious and personable
when we talked between sets, telling me that he's sorry he couldn't attend
my gig in Lansdale on Saturday since he was playing at the same time. He
inspired me to new heights at my own gig. If your anywhere in the area when
he plays you owe it to yourself to see this AWESOME talent.
