Cotton Blows His A** Off Flat On His Back

Tonight at the Del Mar Fair the legendary James Cotton strutted on stage playing high end blow bends in first position. Superharp sat down and the white pvc chair slide out from under him. The crowd gasped and James went down flat on his back. The soles of his shoes faced us. He didn't miss a lick. Obviously shaken and grimacing he played on while righting himself. He replaced his cap between songs and about three songs later the sunshine budda smile and energy burst forth with his warm glow. Later he got up and shook it a little and even hacked on the drum kit. Slam Allen did a great vocal job with BB King guitar style and the bass player was so at one with the groove it melted. Drums and other lead guitar also quite fine. James played straight out of the PA.
