I run a Vibrolux twin (reissue) that is brilliant. The Vibrolux is a 
lot lighter to cart out at 2:00am - but a Twin is still fine - I had an 
old one for over 5 years many years ago when I had a fit drummer who 
carted it for me.

My amp techo halved the wattage of the Vibrolux and changed the 
stand-by switch into a 3 way. Up is normal - middle is standby - down 
is half power.

This allows me to drive a JT30 or a green bullet up around 4-5 - so 
that you can get all the value of the valves tone without the feedback 
hassle. This was a pretty simple mod and leaves the amp totally useable 
as a guitar amp as well.

Every twin should come with a hernia warning on the back - they are 
heavy suckers!
