Suzuki 2 Timer: Tremolo AND Octave?

give that special harmonica octave effect"

Quote from a Suzuki advertisement flyer from 2001. 

Now, I've bought a SU-24 2 Timer in 2000, and I've found that it's a
tremolo as usual, with no octave sound.

Maybe I don't understand what's the meaning of the above info, or did
Suzuki change the 2 Timers in 2001?
