Thanks, Che, for picking up the Sonny Terry book -- t'was a joy to
put together. A couple of other kind folks mentioned the upcoming
Sonny Boy(s) book... thanks for the mention. Fact is, tho, I got
kinda waylayed with other unrelated projects (a classical guitar CD
and another novel,) so the Sonny Boy project has been sort-of on the
back burner. Now that it's festival season, I don't figure to get
back to the Sonny Boys until fall or winter which means it won't be
out til late 2005, at best.
In the meantime, tho, there are lots of other instructional tools
folks could look at, from some fine videos by Norton Buffalo and
Madcat Ruth to David Barrett's excellent books...
In any event, wishing you all happy harpin' and hoping to see some of
you on the road this summer in CA, NV and/or the UK.
