I got to see Jason Ricci Wednesday night here in
Jackson Hole.  He played wireless all night.  Sounded
great to me!  Obviously, he's happy with it -- happy
enough to perform with it.  I wish I could give you
more specifics.  The microphone was an old wand style
electro voice (RE10 I think).  The wireless piece that
attached to the microphone was xlr.  I believe he said
that his system affects the tone, but only very
minutely.  I think he also said that the systems
designed for guitars don't work as well as his.  I
should have been wearing a wire so I could transcribe
the details!   Sorry for the vagueness.  If you want

that might be worth a try.  I found him to be very
interested in discussing things harp.   (His website
