That's really sad news. I had no idea he was so young. I always 
thought of him as an old geezer who was in his 70s when he recorded 
his stuff for Green Linnet 20 (?) years ago. I recently revisited 
some of those recordings and was amazed at the vigor and infectious 
rhythm of his playing.
