I am playing chromatic more now, and my one instrument, a Hering 601/64,
lost a reed. I do my own basic diatonic servicing, but I am not sure I want
to undertake servicing the chrom.
I seek advice-
Do most chrom players on the list service their own?
Who provides quick and reasonably priced basic servicing for chroms?
Are individual reeds and reedplates available for the 601/64?
Do any moderate priced 4 octave chroms come with reeds attached by screws
and reeds readily available?
Looks like I'll need a second chrom- what 4 octave ones are people liking
for 3rd position blues.
Thanks-
Jim Rossen
