Well I've finally got my amp, mic and DigiTech Vocal 300. I was too cheap to
jump to the 400 so I don't have a USB interface. I created a spreadsheet to
help me keep track of the setups just in case something happens. And I can
sort of "think out loud" while sitting at my computer.
Randy Singer suggested that I pass this on. I also figure it's karmic
return after all of the great feedback I got from list members about mics
and the DigiTechs.
The forms in the spreadsheet are based upon the DigiTech Vocal 300 but I'm
sure it can be easily modified for use with the RP series and the other
Vocal units. I'm still working on the presets included in the current
version. I'm sure some of you have much better presets
I've been trying to figure out some of Richard Hunter's RP200 set-ups to see
if I can replicate them. I'm trying at least duplicate some of the sound
even though the Vocal doesn't have the Amplifier Emulator. I've included in
this copy some of my attempts.
I know there are RP and other Vocal users out there so if anyone wants this
spreadsheet, I can provide a link so you can download it. Feel free to
modify it and use it as you see fit. I've saved it as a an Excel 95 version
because it does not contain any "fancy stuff" <g> and to make it useful for
others.
Just drop me an email off-list.
