The absolute best program for slowing down and transcribing tunes is:
"Transcribe!" available on line from "www.seventhstring.com". This
program is so much better than anything else I've used it's not even
funny.

I know there were posts about this earlier, but is there a program that lets you slow down a solo on Windows Media Player without changing pitch?

If you are using Media Player 10 (and maybe 9??) under Windows XP,
you can slow down music via View -> Enhancements -> Play Speed Settings.
You can go from .5 to 2x speed. Most song seem to work out OK.
