Re: [Harp-L] Re: Slowing down a solo

A couple of years ago, you could download CoolEdit Pro for a one month trial. After one month you lose the ability to write file which does not diminish in any way the slow down utility. Perhaps you can downloaded Adobe Audition and do the same. Sort of big though.

Both SlowDowner and Transcribe are great, I like Transcribe better because its really easy to loop a section by selecting an area of the waveform to play.

Unfortunately the affordable Cooledit96, and it's update, Cooledit2000, are
no more.

Syntrillium, the company that wrote CoolEdit, was sold to Adobe. Adobe
dropped sales and support for the more affordable products, and re-labeled
the high-end "CoolEdit Pro" as "Adobe Audition".

I use Cooledit96 for years now. Works very well, but I don't
know if it is somewhere to be found on the net.
