I'm sure there are Sennheiser mics that require phantom power, but the
one discussed recently on the List, the Sennheiser 441 used by, among
others, Howard Levy, Chris Michalek, and Mike Stevens (and me), is a
regular low impedance dynamic microphone that requires no phantom
power. I love mine - both of them.
