[Harp-L] Big Leon Brooks?

A few years ago I bought a used cd by Big Leon.  Earwig is the label.  
Hadn't heard much of him before nor since.  Actually, from the liner notes, 
I believe it to be a posthumous (spell?) release.
Anyone know much about him?  Hey, if you know anything it's more than I 
do...ha!
