I bought an old leather case put model figurine foam in it
to section off mics & whistles. I put it on a stool that I
wound up leaving after every gig we did for a year.
Then I stuck an Arbor snowboard sticker on the seat of the stool
to remind my sodden self to bring the stool home also!

pS. This is lame butthe open case also hides a book of lyrical cues
that I sometimes glance at. Shhh secerts of the guild!
