All due respect, but you can't compare bose home audio to sommercial
audio. Bose theater/stereo gear is absolute crap that his hyper
marketed. Kudos for doing such a great job in the marketing dept...
Bose live sound gear is much better but I'd still take my mackie and
JBL equipment any day over the bose stuff.
It's sort of like comparing A Ford Excursion to to a Ford Contour.
Two different things from the same family that can really be
compared. Of course some folks love Ford over Chevy and visversa.
Others still, hate them both and drive Subarus.

Some information here at: www.bose.com. There's a drop-down menu

from the front page would most likely work better).
Looks interesting, but the aesthetic statement is very weird (a
squat
powered base that seems to serve as the amplifier, surmounted by a
pole
or "cylindrical radiator" that seems to act as the speaker; the
whole
rig looks to be six or seven feet tall). I see that you can try
one for
45 days risk-free according to Bose's site.

I haven't tried it, but I recently bought a surround sound system
and
did a lot of research in newsgroups. There are a lot of strong
opinions
about Bose products in general. There's a sizeable group of people
who
take a very negative view. The general negative view is cheap
components in an unusual looking box. I don't know enough about the
technical side to make an informed judgement.
