Thanks G, I'll look into that. I decided to spring for a Green Bullet and I bought one of them from Coast to Coast. But I still want to repair the Blues Blaster.

Hi Robert,
Shure Brother Controlled Magnetic elements sound great, especially with
small tube amps. You can easily pick them up second hand from US$10 to US$20
on eBay.  I prefer the US model, some of the Mexican ones are reasonably
good, but they vary in quality.
