[Harp-L] Don Brooks question

I recently bought Waylon Jennings' "This Time" CD since I heard it contained 
some outstanding harp by  Don Brooks. It's great stuff indeed. I'm curious 
about Don's setup. I know Mickey Raphael, who calls Don one of his mentors, 
plays while holding a mic and running half of the signal through a tube amp 
and half through the PA. Did Brooks use a similar rig or did he blow through 
a mic on a stand?
