I am still playing around with the volume control. There may be a small
volume decrease, but I do not hear a tone difference. I have a jt30 with a
volume control added by Dennis Greunling...He claims that when you add a
volume control it makes a small difference..My ear is not that good, and I
do not know if that is also true of in line controls. However these controls
are not permanent changes and I guarantee that your audience will not
notice. If that addition makes your mic more playable in a band setting I
think it is worth getting.
