[Harp-L] Shure CM & CR Elements - How to Measure

Does anyone have a method on measuring the health of controlled reluctance
and magnetic elements?

I've got a spare element here, and I'm wondering if it's worth having put
into a shell. There's also the possibility that I may come into more
elements, so I want to be prepared to measure them as well.
