hi,
i want to try to play harp and guitar together. can anyone share how to
practise?
any players suggestion?
thanks!
The first thing is you need a neckrack. assuming you've got that, the best way to practice
is to practice both together. you can practice each instrument alone and work out parts .
then you have to put it together keep the parts simple to start out, with more attention to
the harp part start out just playing chords on the guitar later you can work out more
intricate guitar parts. little by little things will start to come together just like playing the
left hand of a piano with the right.
im a blues fan so i'm limited as to player suggestions but for straight blues i would
suggest jimmy reed or joe hill lewis and i just found out about a very cool record on cd
baby from a guy that used to be in muddy waters band Paul oscher "down in the delta" you
can hear sound clips at cdbaby.com/pauloscher, great tone for neck rack blues playing.
