I have to pitch my tent in scott's camp.  It has been my own experience that
the calaber, and the satisfaction of my own playing has a lot to do with the
cats I'm playing with.  I will often find myself playing with all the the
grace and subtlies that we all aspire to when the band is cooking, and I'm
not fighting just to establish a groove.  When you can rely on the other
musicians, all you have to do is find your pocket and blow.
