even if he was right, it's irrelevant.  i've been a lifelong martial artist,
and when i teach, i don't teach the way i was taught.  i've learned a
lot, and apply what i've learned, and my students learn much better for it.
sometimes the Old Way is the Right Way.  sometimes it's just old.

what matters is not how iceman learned, but whether the method
works for you.  only one way to find that out.
