well, the one I use ain't free - but they have a demo that will allow
you to play at least one minute of a tune. I use this software myself to
allow this - where I can slow down the tempo - and keep the pitch
correct. You can make loops and all with this Amazing Slow Downer app.

As for FREE - Windows Media Player has a plug-in called Chrontron that
is ok. This plug in is free - and will allow you to reduce the tempo -
however it ain't as feature rich as Amazing Slow Downer.

That is a direct download link. It is not straight forward to configure
or use - so you may have to mess around with it - but I made sure just
for the list that this link works and the plug in "goes".
