RE: [Harp-L] Movie "Always in my Heart"

Frank,

Al Smith (of the Harmonica Hot Shots) has a rather extensive, if not
complete, collection of such material; so, you might attempt to contact Al
(though I know not how). Another choice might be the Turner Classic Movies
channel (http://www.turnerclassicmovies.com/). It has shown the film on at
least two occasions within the last year. If you have--or know of someone
who has--cable, you could video tape or "Tivo" it. I recommend this, in
particular, as the quality of the prints shown on TCM are a marvel and a
blessing to cinemaphiles. And you could might the archives at The Internet
Movie Database (http://us.imdb.com/search). They wouldn't provide you with a
link for purchase, buy they do contain all sorts of information that can be
obtained by simply conducting a search for such words
as--say--"harmonicats".

Good Luck, Frank.

Subject: [Harp-L] Movie "Always in my Heart"

I have been trying to get a video or dvd of the movie "Always in my Heart" .

It was a great movie with Walter Huston and Kay Francis and was made in
1942.
The movie had many great scenes with Borah Minivitch and the Harmonica
Rascals. Does anyone know where I might get a copy of this movie. If anyone
gets a
chance to see this movie, I am sure they will be delighted with the
harmonica
scenes.
