It could be two things:
1. If the 5-draw reed gap is set a little low, it may not respond quickly
enough when you "hit" it. Try playing the 5 blow, 5 draw, 5 draw triplet
rhythm all in hole 5. If the reed responds OK, then see #2.
2. You may move your lips to hole 4 too quickly. Practice the isolated
triplet repeatedly...very slowly at first then gradually faster. Think of
them as three separate notes.
