That would have to have been my knowledgeable amigo Johnny T, 'cause I
wasn't familiar
with the song before now.

Hey Mitch--

     What a terrific command of that song you display. I was, in fact, the=20
one who daydreamed in print about hearing Walter play "Moanin'," having love=
d=20
the Art Blakey version, the Mingus version, and Bobby Timmons' solo piano of=
=20
his own composition--and now digging yours, too. I went on to check out a f=
ew=20
more of the jazz-funk cuts on your site and was equally impressed. Keep it=20=
up!=20
 I love to explore soul music/jazz/funk hybrids on diatonic--learned so much=
=20
from King Curtis, Junior Walker, Little Sonny, etc.--and it's great to hear=20=
a=20
kindred soul playing with such delicacy and power. Fine stuff. But no fair=
=20
covering "Soul Serenade" or "Walk in the Night"--I already cover 'em.
      By the way, is this a regular service you provide for Harp-L members?=20=
=20
Like, could you do "The Way We Were" as it might be interpreted by Junior=20
Wells (another guy not afraid to absorb soul and funk)? Or a Sonny Boy Will=
iamson=20
version of "Little Deuce Coupe?" But in all seriousness, ladies and=20
germs--you're a terrific player...

Johnny T
