I have a mailbox full of advise to go through.  Thank you all.

A couple important points I left out:
Music interests - Jazz, Swamp Blues, Folk, Pop, Classical.
Location - New Hampshire, Manchester/Nashua area.

I also see there are "2004 Concerts at Boarding House Park" in Lowell, 
Mass. That looks like a must-do.
