Jonathan Brickman had written me to suggest having harp-l mirrored on
gmane.  My prelimanary look turned up no downside.  For those of you who
prefer the interface of a news type reader gmane looks great.  All of the
security and privacy issues seem to have been addressed.  Check it out and
let me know what you think.  http://www.gmane.org  An added bonus is they
archive so harp-l would gain an alternative to yahoo for an ongoing
archive site.  Their search engine  looks more functional than yahoo's.
