Re: XB-40 in C: high notes squeaking?

I have an XB-40 in C and can get pretty much all the
bends except... the bent blow 10. I can get the unbent
note but get some ropey old sounds (you couldn't call
it a note) when I use my normal (and effective on the
rest of the XB-40) blow-bending technique. I would be
grateful for any help here guys and gals.
