There are flakes and crooks wherever you go.  I don't think they're as bad
on eBay, though.  I've been burnt lots more elsewhere.  I've done a lot of
business there, and so far have not had a problem.  I understand they're
very good about handling disputes.  Anyone who doesn't conduct business
fairly, honestly, and promptly gets bad feedback, which is the kiss of death
on eBay.  Many buyers refuse to do business with sellers who have negative
feedback, and vice versa.
