As I wrote a bit back, I have a custom Marine Band in A that has lasted me 
more than a year without going out of tune. I also have a custom in low F 
that I expect will last me years. A fine-tuned harp is a lot more responsive 
than an off-the-shelf harp, meaning you don't have to play as hard to get a 
great sound. Just something to consider.
Now with that said, I do understand that, while it may make sense in the 
long run to buy custom harps, some simply can't afford the cash up front 
.... BELIEVE me, I understand. ;-)
