Classical composer Gordon Jacob was born on this day in 1895. Jacob wrote
"5 Pieces for Harmonica and Orchestra" and "Divertimento for Harmonica and
Prchestra" in 1957 for Tommy Reilly and Larry Adler.
Blues guitar and harmonica player Dan Bellini was born on this day in 1965.
Dan has been playing with the band "Howard and the White Boys" for about 10
years now and they've released several outstanding albums.

Blues guitar and sometimes harmonica player Louis Myers died on this day in
1994. Myers was a part of the Aces, the group which backed Junior Wells and
Little Walter as well as playing on dozens of Blues classics in the 1950's
and 60's.
Blues piano player Katie Webster died on this day in 1999. Like most good
Blues musicians, Katie could play the harmonica, though she was best known
as a piano player.
