I saw our buddy Jason Ricci last night and he played one tune
that, I swear, was coming from a hidden B3

I later axed him about it and he pointed out his newer Boss
Pitch Shifter.

Rockin' Jake does Lots of effects in his show- He uses a
Digitech Control Seven which controls a Alessis Quadraverb
Two.

but don't know what effects were used.  The two front runners based
