Auto-Wah for Harp

Anyone out there have any experience using auto-wah or synth pedals 
for harp.  I've heard some cool stuff recorded (I'm thinking of Greg 
Szlapcynski's cool horn-lke sound on "1962" on La Part du Diable), 
but don't know what effects were used.  The two front runners based 
on features, price, and reputation are the Boss AW-3 and the Digitech 
XSW Synth Wah.  Any thoughts?
