have only seen one of these used (twice only) through a pa and it sounded awful - but I know the guys with the pa had little experience with micing harp... and I think they plugged it straight into the pa with no impedance convertor(?)

on that experience I was keen to stick with a cupped sm57 straight to pa

be keen to hear from anybody using one and what they do and how they perform... particularly for chromatic... not being in a reg band I really need something that just plugs in with a minimum fuss and doesn't require a pa guy to wrestle with feedback for half a set... have found the shaker madcat promising in size but poor in signal response.
