Here is a cool  feature that I use.

Google has a news alerts function which sends an email to your computer 
if a certain word appears in the news. Since my favorite word is 
"Harmonica", I get a daily email with a link to the news site that 
features the word harmonica.

Here is the link and an example. You can set it for digest view or 
asithappens.
