gus origin and coinage url's

For the curious amongst us I'm posting first a url to the first Gus
reference and then the actual coinage a couple of months later.  Both
posts were Barry Bean's.  There was some confusion regarding this on one
of the other lists and since I bothered to find the posts I thought
