Hi all,
I don't see where the Harp-L furor is - or was. Seems the group
has been pretty friendly lately. I'm afraid this thread (and even just
the subject line of this thread) could leave a bad taste in the mouths
of new or recent Harp-L subscribers. Someone new or just signing
on to Harp-L might be turned off and un-sub without a fair trial run.
What if there were a string of posts on Harp-L or other harp lists
with a similar subject line? If someone has a question about, or a problem
with a particular thread I suggest they post inquiries to the list owner.
Public chastising of another list can be harmful to many just to publicize
or criticize postings of one or two, or a few - without at least a
preliminary query to the list owner (or moderator).
Harp-L strives to be a friendly, informational and educational link to the
harmonica world and is in favor of the existence of other harmonica lists
and the healthy competition generated by same.
