Country multi-instrumentalist Rusty York was born on this day in 1935.
York's career began in the early 1950's and has gone on since with forays
into Bluegrass and Rockabilly.  Among the many instruments he plays, Rusty
York also plays the harmonica.

Folk singer-songwriter, guitar and harmonica player Bob Dylan was born on
this day in 1941.  regardless of anyone's opinion as to his music or
playing, their is no doubt as to Dylan's influence on music in general.  He
also inspired thousands to start playing the harmonica.

Rock guitar and harmonica player Derek Quinn was born on this day in 1942.
Quinn rose to fame playing with the band, Freddie and the Dreamers during
the British invasion of the 1960's and has gone on to work with other
artists as well.

Bluegrass multi-instrumentalist David Moody was born on this day in 1952.
Moody includes the harmonica among the many instruments that he plays and
has been playing in his family's Moody Brothers Band since around 1968.

Folk / Country / Rock drummer and harmonica player Gene Clark died on this
day in 1993.  Clark was a member of the New Christy Minstrels, a founding
memeber of the Byrds as well as working with the Flying Burrito Brothers and
Firefall.
