wood that resists swelling (for a comb)

To whom to may concern:

I am wondering what varieties of wood resist swelling. I would like to
find one to make a comb that doesn't need any beeswax sealing. I
understand that bagpipes use African Blackwood. Are there other woods
with this type of characteristic?
