My $.02:
Robert Bonfiglio APPEARED to be using a lapel mic when I saw him.
He sounded fantastic.
Mr. B., did I see right?

I think you'll find that many players who play "clean", with an
"acoustic" style don't worry much about the electronics, 'cause it's
all about THEIR tone.
Funny, most of the good amplified players, once they find a "good rig"
are ALSO primarily concerned with THEIR tone.
