Re: Weekend Yard Sale score
This week-end I found a second Chromonica II Deluxe at a yard sale near me.
I didn't know there had been several box designs, so I am now the happy
owner of the yellow and brown soft zipped up "pencilcase" box and a red and
brown plastic case. Yummy. I only paid 40 EUR for it which, while not cheap
was certainly a lot less than any of them have sold on ebay... It plays like
sh*t, but then I'm lead to understand that this model was practically
designed to play like sh*t ;-)
I rounded up my sale by purchasing a Larry Adler Pro 16 hole for 20 EUR.
It's dirty but seems fine. i'll just have to clean it et voila.
Interestingly enough, I could have bought three more harps I didn't have in
my collection at "reasonable" prices, but I thought two was enough. I love
yard sales !
