kenny wayne sheppard is a stevie ray vaughan type guitarist.
"bluz rawk" is an attempt to denigrate "blues rock", the rock&roll off shoot 
that features a bluesy feeling, without being actual blues.  often riff driven 
and often loud.  many of the players served in blues bands previously, and 
some returned to blues later in life.  in a sense, cream and led zep can be seen 
as blues rock, but it is more typified by bands like free, bad company, and 
foghat.  
for my money, wilson will never hold a candle to paul rodgers (free, bad 
company) as a vocalist.  and i like wilson as a vocalist.
