day in 1914. Williams has been playing the harmonica since the 1930's and
has recorded dozens of albums of his music.

Wakefield began playing the harmonica at the age of six, but is probably
best known as a mandolin player. He even gave lessons to a young David
Grisham.

1948. Nardella has been playing around the Detroit area since the 1970's

Harmonica band leader Borrah Minevitch died on this day in 1955. Minevitch
was largely responsible for the boom in harmonica bands from the late 1920's
through until the 1940's by creating the Harmonica Rascals. Hundreds of
harmonica players got their start because of Minevitch and his group.
