Joe Messina

Famed Motown Funk Brother, and chromatic jazz artist extraordinaire, Joe
Messina, has made a limited number of his 1996 CD titled "Messina &
Friends" available on a first-come basis. Highly acclaimed as a master
of jazz harmonica, Joe is enjoying a new-found respect among his peers
in the world of harmonica. This release, together with his 1993 release,

Although Joe doesn't play harmonica in the recently released biography
film, "Standing in the Shadows of Motown", his guitar talent is exposed
together with the rest of The Funk Brothers. As Rob Paparozzi said, this
is one film (DVD) not to be overlooked - for both its musical and
historical value.
